THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY APPROVED A RECORD OF 51 LAWS

The 10th plenary session of Legislature XV of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) concluded o­n December 11, 2025. In this session, the NA approved a record of 51 laws including:

11) Law on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters;

12) Law on State of Emergency;

13) Law amending and supplementing certain articles of the Law on Criminal Records;

14) Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement (amended);

15) Law on Personal Income Tax (amended);

16) Law on Tax Administration (amended);

17) Law on Saving and Combating Waste;

18) Law on Planning (amended);

19) Law on Deposit Insurance (amended);

20) Law on Population;

21) Law on Disease Prevention;

22) Law on Cybersecurity;

23) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 10 laws related to security and order;

24) Construction Law (amended);

25) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on National Defense, Security and Industrial Mobilization;

26) Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People’s Councils (amended);

27) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Education Law;

28) Vocational Education Law (amended);

29) Higher Education Law (amended);

30) Press Law (amended);

31) Law on Drug Prevention and Control (amended);

32) Law on Execution of Criminal Sentences (amended);

33) Law on Execution of Temporary Detention, Custody and Prohibition from Leaving the Place of Residence;

34) Law on Public Officials (amended);

35) Law on Vietnamese Civil Aviation (amended);

36) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Prevention and Combat of Corruption;

37) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Citizen Reception, the Law on Complaints, and the Law on Denunciations;

38) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on International Treaties;

39) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Prices;

40) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Public Debt Management;

41) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Statistics;

42) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Insurance Business;

43) Law on Bankruptcy and Recovery;

44) Law on Investment (amended);

45) Law on Digital Transformation;

46) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 15 laws in the fields of agriculture and environment;

47) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Geology and Minerals;

48) Law on National Reserves (amended);

49) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Value Added Tax;

50) Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Urban and Rural Planning; and

51) Law on Extradition.

 

In addition, the NA also approved 39 resolutions during this last session of the XV legislature.
